The headquarters of the company is in Blato on the island of Korčula, where from the very beginning the activity is based on the production, processing and sale of wine and extra virgin olive oil, the purchase of dried figs and carobs and their processing into special brandies.
Blato 1902 d.d. owns the production areas of the Korčula vineyard, on which a lot of effort and funds have been invested, which, along with the favorable climatic conditions of southern Dalmatia, contributes to the exceptional quality of grapes as a raw material for the production of top quality wine.
Autochthonous varieties of the island of Korčula are grown, such as Plavac mali, Cetinka, Pošip, Maraština and Zlatarica Blatska, but also other world-renowned varieties Merlot, Syrah, Malbec. In addition to our own vineyards, we own a rootstock of vine rootstocks, cuttings and rootstocks that serve us, apart from our own needs, and for sale.
