50 m high, with the village of the same name, is the site of the oldest and the most famous Korčula quarry.
Only a few families today live in this picturesque village, and they let rooms and apartments to the guests.

Papratno beach is located in a bay, which hold the locality, a popular auto-camp and a ferry port, as well. It is situated on the south side of the Peljesac peninsula, 3 km from the historical town of Ston.

Papratno beach is a sandy beach, long and shallow, ideal for families with small children or non-swimmers. You can touch the sandy bottom even 100 m from the shore.

The beach faces old pine trees and olives which offer shade during hot summer days. There is an auto-camp near the beach in which you can find  restaurant, cafes and shop. Sports enthusiasts can practice beach volleyball, basketball, pedal boats and numerous other activities on the Papratno beach.

Next to the town of Žuljana, on the Pelješac peninsula, there is a large beach under a pine forest – Vučine Beach. The beach is isolated, pebbly and hidden in the natural shade of tall pine trees. It is excellent for everyone who likes to spend their vacation in peace, away from the crowds and noise. The sea is calm, pleasantly warm and accessible along the entire length of the beach. In the shallows, it is an ideal place for children to play, but also for occasional refreshment from the hot summer sun. However, when the sun is too hot, it is enough to retreat to the shade in a few steps. Come to this beach, relax and enjoy the sounds of nature.

The beach is protected from the northern winds. Przina beach is very popular and well visited beach during the summer months, so it is sometimes overcrowded and it is difficult to find a place on the beach. It is favorite beach for tourists and for the local people, who come here to have fun and hang out. There is a bar on the beach in which are offered many refreshing drinks and fast food, and you can also rent parasols and deck chairs. Sandy Przina beach is not only visited by Lumbarda tourists, tourists from whole island Korcula are visiting this beach. Przina used to be nudist beach, but today nudists are on rocky parts of the Przina bay. Nudists enjoy privacy and crystal clear sea with view to sandy beach full of people. So close to everything but in the same time so far away. On rocky parts of the bay you can even find some shade from the pine trees above, and sunsets from that part of the bay is great. There is big parking place next to the beach so it is easy to get to Przina sandy beach by car.

Another sandy beach in Lumbarda, Bilin zal. It is on opposite side of Przina beach. Bilin zal overlooking to the North-East, to Pelješac peninsula and islands of Korcula archipelago. Next to the beach is ancient building with nice restaurant inside. Along beach Bilin zal there is few meters high stone wall so there is shade on the beach in the afternoon. You can also rent parasols and sunbeds. You can try some water sports starting from pier close to beach. Big parking place is next to the Bilin zal beach, so beach is easy to reach. When you walk over rocks to the East you can find small pebble beaches, and nice flat stone areas. This part is called Lenga and it is paradise for nudists.

In the center of Lumbarda, on the north side of Marina there is a pebble beach looking to Lumbarda islands and Pelješac peninsula. On the beach there is nice cocktail bar. People can rent boats, jet skies, kayaks and go to windsurf school.

An undiscovered paradise on Earth! Perfect harmony with nature, a protected bay, peace and quiet.  The beach in Podobuč stretches along the entire town with only a few houses, it has a dressing room, shower, and there is a tavern nearby.

Kučište also has a surfer’s paradise. Particularly for those who are just starting out with this sport. It is not as crowded as the neighboring Viganj, so those looking to ride the waves can enjoy their favorite sport.

It is equally adored by both locals and tourists. The crystal sea, pebbles and fine sand, showers, dressing rooms, entertainment facilities such as jet skis, pedal boats, inflatable banana boats… At the Trstenica beach you will find great fun for young and old alike.

You simply cannot come to Orebić without visiting its most popular beach, the center of life in the summer months.

Immediately in front of hotel ‘Faraon’ there is a gravel beach Pozora. As it has a shallow and natural shade, it is appropriate for children. There you can rent various equipment or freshen in the bar.

One more destination that is worth of visiting is this small fishery village, 13 km. from Trpanj, with a beatiful gravel beach in the harbour. This beach is also suitable for children, and there is a beach bar as well.

Start your journey at the sole mouth of Neretva River where you can walk in shallow water.
