Restaurant “Groppo” is located in the city of Zadar, a place whose city defense system is under the protection of UNESCO heritage. The excellent terrace located across from the Zadar Cathedral of St. Anastasia, also the largest church in Dalmatia, offers the opportunity to go back in time, to the time when it was built (between the 12th and 13th centuries). The historic stone walls of the cathedral and the narrow stone streets exude art, and a rich and pleasant evening in our restaurant provides a unique opportunity to experience this art and connect the past with the future.

Inspired by the city that has a fortress, which no one has ever managed to attack, as a symbol of protection and eternal love for its place, we decided to open our culinary fortress. Our symbol of eternal love for food and service. The symbol of our love for cooking becomes a “knot” or connection with those who visit us. In addition to the fact that the restaurant “Groppo” is a knot of you and us, it is a shell, a miraculous work of our skills that, like a shell when you open it, you get only the best.
